The CWP Class for Winter Garden Residents

Every USS Academy CWP class is taught in person by a certified Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor. Every class includes live-fire qualification on a licensed partner range. Every student leaves with a state-approved Certificate of Completion the same day, ready to submit a Florida CWP application through FDACS or a county tax collector's office.
A Short Drive from Winter Garden
USS Academy's primary partner range is located at 595 Donovan Crews Road, Saint Cloud, FL 34773. From Winter Garden, the drive is typically 35 to 45 minutes via the 429 toll road or the Florida Turnpike, depending on traffic and the time of day. Students from Ocoee, Oakland, Windermere, and Dr. Phillips take the same route.

Every session runs with a mix of experience levels, and our instructors teach to the room.

What to Expect on Class Day
Location: 595 Donovan Crews Road, Saint Cloud, FL 34773 (35-45 minutes from Winter Garden via 429 or Florida Turnpike).
Duration: Plan on 4 to 5 hours including classroom, safety brief, live-fire qualification, and certificate issuance.
What to Bring: Valid photo ID. Your own handgun and ammunition (rental available on request). Eye and ear protection (range loaners available). Water, closed-toe shoes, sleeved shirt.
Certificate: Every student who successfully completes the class receives a state-approved Certificate of Completion the same day. Accepted by FDACS across all 67 Florida counties.
